The Best and Worst of 2018 in Film/TV, Literature, and Music

2018 was an amazing year; full of ups and downs, surprises, "told ya so's," "OH MY GOD's," "AWWW YISS's" and "What the he**'s?" After reading President Obama's "best of 2018" list, I decided that it would be fun to write out one of my own. DISCLAIMER: This list is based on films, music, and literature that I have watched, listened to, and read, so it is definitely opinion based! I'd love to hear your feedback! Do you agree or disagree? Let's get a conversation started y'all! Here's to 2018 and all that it brought us! Sending love and prayers for a wonderful 2019! God bless you all!

THE BEST AND WORST OF 2018 IN FILM/TV, LITERATURE, AND MUSIC:

BEST FILMS

2018 was a year filled with absolutely STUNNING movies! These films create movements, showed raw emotional acting, cinematic prowess, stunning visuals, and just plain good directing. My personal top 5 are 1. Black Panther, 2. Ready Player One, 3. Avengers: Infinity War, 4. Sicario: Day of the Soledad, and 5. A Quiet Place. See my full list below!

Black Panther

Avengers Infinity War

A Quiet Place

Fantastic Beasts 2: The Crimes of Grindelwald

Birth of A Nation

Detroit

WORST FILMS

What can I say? These films were just...bad. Superfly...just...no. I don't have words to describe how bad this movie was. Venom could have been an AWESOME movie! However, for some reason, the director decided to pull a "Thor: Ragnarok" and make Venom a comedy. Stan Lee is writhing with frustration right now. We desperately need Christopher Nolan to redeem the Venom franchise. Sorry to Bother You...all I can say is "WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!?"
